Say hello to FlipWP

A new private acquisition marketplace for WordPress.

One of the main reasons for starting WP Trends was to surface and share WordPress business acquisition opportunities that got listed on various websites, so you knew you would get to hear about them without having to watch lots of sites.

As I saw it, the WordPress ecosystem was booming and a lot of folks were interested in acquiring WordPress businesses; plugins, theme companies and SaaS apps. For a while, sharing these opportunities seemed to solve the problem. But recently things have felt different.

Every week I was hearing about another acquisition, getting an email from someone looking to buy a plugin business, or emails from developers asking the best way to sell. The need for a WordPress specific acquisition marketplace became more and more apparent. The more I chatted to my friend Alex, from Ellipsis Marketing, the more and more we knew what we were going to build next.

Fast forward a few weeks and here we are. FlipWP is officially open for business. The membership for buyers is now available to sign up and purchase.

Joining is the only way to get access to our listings of WordPress businesses for sale. You'll get new listing summaries emailed to you as they go live, and you can then login to our site to view the full thing.

Each listing will include summary details of the business such as ARR and monthly profit, the asking price, and commentary from us on what the opportunity is. You'll then have direct contact details for the owner, and can reach out directly.

You have no commission or extra fees to pay should you go ahead with any acquisitions. Membership is $299/year, and if you sign up before next Friday you can use the code WPTRENDS50 for $50 off your first year.
